At the Disrupt SF 2018 conference in San Francisco an American start-up has presented a secure messenger based on the blockchain platform Blockstack.

The developers said that their product called Stealthy allows not only to communicate with encrypted messages, but also can become a single platform for decentralized applications.

They also noted that to improve security, encrypted messages are sent to the cloud service provider. The user can choose the cloud hosting for storing messages. Then the recipient can decrypt the message using the Stealthy application.

A free application is already available for iOS and Android devices. In the future, service providers plan to charge for the corporate version of the product.

It is noteworthy that the Stealthy logo (a white paper plane on a blue background) is reminiscent of the sign of the Telegram messenger.
