This is reported by Bloomberg referring to a source familiar with the course of the event.
The meeting was attended by representatives of companies from Wall Street, as well as several large crypto-exchange including the Gemini brothers Winklevoss.
According to the source, the purpose of the meeting was the development of measures that will help the cryptocurrency industry improve its reputation and justify its potential role in global markets. Also, the possible consequences of market regulation in the future and the tools necessary to oversee this industry were discussed.
The official representative of Nasdaq affirmed that such a meeting had actually taken place, but did not comment it. Representatives of Gemini did not respond to the request for comments at this hour.
