Thanks to the new partnership between Ethereum Name Service (ENS) and Minds + Machines Group (MMX), users will be able to bind their addresses to the top-level domain, which will make it easier to remember the identifiers associated with their assets, wallets and services.
Using ENS, users can already replace long addresses with “readable” names that are associated with the .eth domain. Soon they will have a new option in the form of an upcoming .luxe (lets u xchange easily) domain, which will make access to the blockchain assets, decentralized applications and smart contracts more convenient.
ENS leading developer Nick Johnson also notes that the native blockchain domains.luxe will improve the integration between the traditional DNS space and blockchain technologies.
It is expected that the public registration of .luxe domains, which will be preceded by a period of limited registration on October 30, 2018.
