According to Cointelegraph, Monex Group, an online brokerage company that bought the Japanese Coincheck exchange this spring, is planning to open a trading platform in the United States.

The company plans to establish TradeStation Crypto, which will become the subsidiary of TradeStation that Monex bought in 2011, focused on cryptocurrency and brokerage operations with securities.

In addition, according to Monex CEO Oki Matsumoto, Coincheck itself – which Monex bought in April for $33 million – will begin operating in August.

Earlier Matsumoto said that Coincheck would start working in June, but because of the delay in obtaining the license, the Financial Services Agency (FSA) of Japan decided to change the plans.
