Hut 8 and Bitfury will open a new data center for bitcoin mining

Hut 8 Mining Corp. announced the completion of the construction at its bitcoin mining facility with 40 BlockBox data centers in Medicine Hat, Canada. The solution provider for the largest data centers in North America is Bitfury Group.

The CMH Facility became the second division after the Drameller mining platform with 17 data centers with 18.7 MW of operating capacity and 66.7 MW of total capacity. In Medicine Hat there are 40 data centers with 1.2 MW of operating capacity. The total capacity of the CMH Facility is estimated at 487.5 PH/s.

Hut 8 Mining Corp. began to open data centers with Bitfury in December 2017. Since then, the Hut 8 mining platforms have produced more than 1,900 bitcoins.
