Tech company IBM has applied for a blockchain patent for the creation of the nodes-based transaction data identifiers, according to a patent application published by the USPTO.

The system called “Node Characterization in Blockchain” is aimed to present a method of data extraction from nodes on a blockchain network to identify different kinds of transactions.
The system offers an anti-money laundering method by checking if a node performs a suspicious activity on blockchain while carrying out a crypto transaction.

The project is developed with modules that can be used as programmable hardware devices such as gate arrays, array logic, or graphic processing units.
