IBM will help Saudi Arabia to introduce blockchain into the government

The municipality of Riyadh – the capital of Saudi Arabia – announced a blockchain-cooperation with IBM. According to ITP.net, the company will develop strategies for implementing DLT technology in public services.

The task of IBM is to develop a blockchain-based solution for the municipality of Elm, and Elm will integrate these technologies into the government services of the country.

According to representatives of the municipality, blockchain projects are needed to serve the citizens of the country in digital format and support the revolutionary goals of the program Saudi Vision 2030.

Earlier ForkLog reported that IBM announced a partnership with the Australian government. As part of the cooperation, the corporation will provide automation services to the country’s departments and help to implement blockchain technology into government services.
