The Kodak blockchain platform from the photo industry giant Kodak is successfully going through a beta testing phase, under which it has already managed to collect about $ 1 million from copyright infringers on a photo in accordance with licensing requirements.
Note that testing started in October 2018. Since then, the platform has processed 1,667 applications.
Representatives of RYDE Holding, a platform operator, said that the main partners are the Blaublut Edition and Food Centrale agencies.
KodakONE uses a combination of an artificial intelligence-based web scanner and photo recognition technology to enforce copyright. At the same time, violators can quite easily become clients by agreeing to license the published content, thereby avoiding legal battles.
