New York University is becoming the first university in the US, ready to offer students the training of cryptocurrency and specialty blockages.
The new educational program is reportedly to be provided at the Leonard N. Stern Business School, which was also the first educational institution to launch a blockchain course for bachelors.
According to Professor Kathleen Derrose, the educational institution also expects that successful companies in the industry will join the learning process, and “finteh startups will help to invent new teaching methods.” In light of the growing number of students interested in learning about blockchain-technologies and cryptocurrencies, the University of New York has also reportedly doubled the number of blockchain courses this academic year.
Recently, blockchain start-up ConsenSys concluded a partnership agreement with the project in the field of mass online education Coursera for the opening of training courses in the field of blockchain-technologies and cryptocurrency. Also for the training of qualified specialists, the Indian state of Tamil Nadu together with IBM presented the first educational blockchain course in India.
