Nine new members have joined the Hyperledger consortium, among them the LG CNS, blockchain startup Omnitude and the data verification platform Tierion. Currently the organization consists of more than 250 companies. Among the new members of Hyperledger are Coil, ChainDigit, Chainyard, DigiCert, Kiva and UTRUST.
Also, in late July, the consortium released a new white paper. According to the developers, the document contains five new applications of blockchain in various areas and a description of tools with open source.
Notably, Google Corp. announced that this year it will integrate open source software for applications based on the Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum blockchain platforms on the Google Cloud Product.
