According to Cointelegraph, Opera published a press release announcing about the launch of a built-in cryptocurrency wallet for desktop browser.
The new desktop version will operate by allowing clients to connect their browser to their existing crypto wallet-enabled application by scanning a QR code. The mobile device can be used to store private keys and work with a cryptocurrency wallet. It will no longer be necessary to enter a password for signing a transaction, it can be confirmed with a fingerprint.
Opera’s web and mobile browsers have added anti-cryptojacking software as of January this year.
