The Securities Division of the Office of the Attorney General of South Carolina canceled the decision to terminate the activities of the ShipChain and Genesis Mining blockchain startups.
In May, ShipChain was accused of running afoul of securities laws during their private SHIP token sale.
In response, ShipChain said that it operates within the law, and their token is not a security. Representatives of the company also noted that ShipChain did not know about the purchase of their tokens by the residents of the state.
As for Genesis Mining, the authorities of South Carolina in March decided to immediately halt the distribution of mining contracts for the same reasons.
The state regulator has not canceled a similar order about Swiss Gold Global, which was previously accused of providing services as an unregistered broker dealer for Genesis Mining.
