On June 26, The Senate’s Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism will have a hearing called “Protecting Our Elections: Examining Shell Companies and Virtual Currencies as Avenues for Foreign Interference”.

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has previously announced that BTC may be used as a donation for pre-election campaigns. Nevertheless, the maximum sum that can be donated is limited.
